Orpheus Wines is a young, family-owned Santa Rosa winery that opened its first tasting room just one year ago in Kenwood, CA. Featuring a tasting room and art gallery, they are home to the Wine Orb, which holds 27 bottles of wine to maximize efficiency and continue to be sustainable.

The winery has some wonderful gardens for their guests to walk through and picnic in.
St. Francis Winery

Kunde Family Estate
They have a large variety of tours. One is the Mountain Top Tasting, where they drive you up to the top of one of the hills on the grounds that looks over a good portion of the valley’s vineyards. It is $40 per person and you do need reservations. They also give guided tours of their caves daily for free without an appointment.

Benziger Family Winery
Tours: Biodynamic Vineyard Tram Tour - $20 per person, is 45 minutes long and you do not need reservations. They take you on a ride through the vineyards, fermentation facility and crush pad. Partners Estate Tour & Tasting - $40 per person, is 1 ½ hours long and appointments are recommended, but not required. This is a behind-the-scenes tour that includes an exclusive seated tasting.
Estate Tour & Tasting – A wine educator leads you through the estate, into the vineyards and the cellar. You learn about the history, winemaking techniques and go through the vineyards. Ends with a tasting. PHOTO: www.landmarkwine.com
Ram’s Gate Winery
Food & Wine Pairing: Can be done in the covered gallery or in the tasting hall, sometimes even at the tasting bar. They have tastings in a pavilion, by the pond, in the covered gallery or in the tasting hall. With 24 hours notice, they can set up a picnic basket for you. They provide you with a food and wine menu, blanket, and the picnic basket is even for sale for you to keep. This is a great winery to hit on your way from or to San Francisco.
Petroni Vineyards (wine and olive oil tasting)
Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Sangiovese, Syrah, Pinot Noir. Big wines, dramatic views, semi-private seated tastings.
Deerfield Ranch Winery

Heritage Winery & Estate Tour & Tasting - $45 per person, is 1 ½ hours long. Walk through their vineyards and have a seated tasting of their current releases. Hanzell Vineyards Wine Library - $150 per person, 4 person minimum, is 2 ½ hours long. Includes everything in the Heritage tour, plus a seated tasting of rare vintages from the Wine Library.
