Hotel Policy

Check-In Time, Check-Out Time and Late Arrivals

  • Check-in time is after 3:00 pm
  • If you plan to arrive before 3:00 pm, you may park in our parking lot. We will be more than happy to store your luggage, and tell you about our favorite places to have lunch or to visit
  • If you plan to arrive after 8:00 pm, please call us at 707-935-0237 so that we may coordinate your check-in with our overnight manager
  • Check-out time is 11:00 am

Deposit and Fees

  • A deposit of one night's room rate, plus tax and service charge, is required to secure a reservation
  • All room rates are subject to a 14.195% local state tax plus a $25 resort fee per evening
  • Our services include: gourmet daily breakfast for two including a hot entrée and fresh pastries; guest passes to Parkpoint Health Club Sonoma (up to two passes per room per night); WiFi access; bottled water and soft drinks; evening cordial bar with premium sake, port and sherry; freshly-baked cookies each afternoon, in-room coffee, on-site parking, concierge assistance and nightly Magic Hour wine and cheese tasting
  • Please notify the hotel prior to arriving if you intend to pay for your stay with a gift certificate
  • Holidays, special events and group bookings have separate deposit and cancellation policies; please review our cancellation policy and contact the hotel directly for details

Seven Day Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel your reservation seven days or more prior to your arrival date, your initial deposit will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee
  • If you cancel your reservation within seven days of your arrival date, or fail to cancel your reservation and fail to arrive, you will forfeit your deposit and be charged for all nights included in your original reservation

Group Reservations: Three or more rooms, either booked together or individually by parties travelling together, constitutes a group reservation. Group reservations may require payment at the time of booking and a 30 to 60-day cancellation policy. An additional group booking fee may be required. These policies supersede policies shown on an individually booked reservation. If you, or the parties you are travelling with, reserve three or more rooms, you will be contacted and a contract will be required.

Holiday or Special Event Periods: Reservations during special event or holiday periods are subject to a longer cancellation policy, which will be stated in the confirmation notes. Should you not cancel your reservation within the specified timeframe, you will be charged for all nights of your original reservation. Additionally, a minimum night stay may be required, and early departures will be charged for the original reservation.

Extended Stays & Early Departure Policy

  • Reservations for seven days or more are subject to pre-payment of the entire amount at the time of reservation
  • A 14 day cancellation policy applies on extended stays
  • For all reservations cancelled 14 days or more before the date of arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus a $25 processing fee
  • Cancellations within 14 days of arrival, will forfeit 50% of the entire amount of the stay, plus tax
  • Once checked-in, early departures are charged for the entire length of the original reservation

Occupancy & Tourism Tax

Transient occupancy tax and a tourism tax is charged on the room rate and resort fee

Reservations Made Through Online Third Party Agencies Such As

  • We highly recommend that you reserve directly with the inn to receive the best rate, however you may use third-party agents such as
  • Should you need to cancel your reservation, you must do so through their website
  • If we need to contact you about important information regarding your reservation, we will be unable to do so as only the online travel agent has your contact information

Guest Identification Required

Guests are required to present a valid identification at check-in that matches the name on the reservation as well as the credit card used to pay for the guestroom

Smoke-Free Inns

  • All Four Sisters Inns are 100% smoke-free
  • If smoking occurs, there will be a $200 cleaning fee per night added to your folio

Dog Policy

  • We have one dog-friendly guestroom at the inn
  • An advance dog reservation is required and an additional non-refundable fee will be added to your folio

  • A service animal, as acknowledged by the American with Disabilities Act, is welcome to accompany their owner while staying at the inn

Additional Guests

  • Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. If there is a third guest (over the age of five) staying in the room, there will be a $25 extra person nightly charge
  • Many of our rooms cannot accommodate more than stwo guests
  • If you should need a futon or rollaway, please contact us immediately as we have a limited number of these available and we will also confirm whether your room can accommodate an additional guest

  • Gaige House is designed to provide a quiet and restful retreat for guests seeking relaxation and privacy
  • In order to most fully enjoy your vacation, please speak to the innkeeper about which guestroom would be best should you be traveling with a child
